With the Houston Texans preparing for the 2026 NFL Draft, the team has come out and made huge news involving the new contract for star Will Anderson Jr., one that fans should be happy about. While the Texans are looking to bounce back after a disappointing playoff stint, the team is committing to Anderson on a deal that makes him the “highest paid non-QB in NFL history,” per Jordan Schultz.
“BREAKING: The #Texans and 2x Pro Bowl DE Will Anderson Jr. have finalized a 3-year, $150M extension that makes him the highest paid non-QB in NFL history, per multiple sources,” Schultz wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
