3 players Giants should target with pick No. 10 after Dexter Lawrence trade

The New York Giants just delivered the biggest pre-2026 NFL Draft trade Saturday. Defensive lineman and all-pro Dexter Lawrence got shipped to the Cincinnati Bengals. This blockbuster deal now hands the Giants pick No. 10 ahead of Thursday.

So who should the Giants target now at 10th overall?

Head coach John Harbaugh now gets two top 10 picks. He and the franchise can address offense at No. 10.

That includes targeting this newly rumored potential weapon. Who leads the three players the Giants should target at 10th overall.

Who Giants can turn to at No. 10

The NFL Network dropped this big intel involving Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.

“Giants GM Joe Schoen flew to Arizona to attend Jordan Tyson’s workout yesterday. Schoen also had dinner with Tyson the night before, sources told me and Ian Rapoport,” Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter. “With NYG at 10 after the Dexter Lawrence, Tyson’s odds of being a top 10 pick have now increased significantly.”

Tyson is garnering top 10 attention ahead of the draft. He hands Harbaugh and second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart a new field-stretching weapon.

Plus fans can see Dart form a wicked duo with Tyson and Malik Nabers at WR. Adding Tyson shows how serious Harbaugh is with getting Dart another weapon.

Other options for Giants include OT help

Tyson still could land elsewhere before the 10th pick.

Harbaugh and the Giants front office must pivot elsewhere in the event Tyson goes early. The New Orleans Saints could be in play for Tyson especially if they pass on Jeremiyah Love.

Offense still is the priority with the extra selection here.

Francis Mauigoa of Miami becomes a massive gift for an old-school coach like Harbaugh. He thrived with blue collar, feisty lines during his long Baltimore Ravens run. Including winning one Super Bowl with a power running game before shifting to Lamar Jackson behind center.

Mauigoa brings a nasty streak that’ll be embraced in the Big Apple. Harbaugh and his coaching staff will need to correct his pad level if taken. But he’ll protect Dart at a high level. Plus the Hurricanes star and Cameron Skattebo present a frightening duo in the ground game.

But if Tyson and Mauigoa are off the board before 10, where else can NYG turn?

Carnell Tate brings top 10 potential here too. Tate’s slower compared to Tyson but dominates his routes and is a big-body target.

Defense is hard to pass on first for NYG at No. 5. Offense rises as the move with the added pick.
