Interesting contrast here for the two franchises playing in the first ever Game 7 in W history. Goldent State reportedly earned the most revenue among all teams. Atlanta the lowest. What if the Dream had played all of their home games at State Farm Arena? Would that still be accurate?
Game 7 tonight features the WNBA’s highest and lowest revenue teams.
Golden State generated an estimated $78M in 2025 revenue, compared with $16M for Atlanta.
Using @Forbes’ 2026 franchise valuations against those 2025 revenue estimates, Atlanta carries a 15.6x multiple compared with Golden State’s 10.0x.
Nearly a 5x revenue gap between two teams playing for a championship tonight.

There is plenty of chatter around the word and hashtag #BALLHALLA. Well playing off the nickname of the brother franchise for the Valkyries, here is what the word “Valkyries” means. Alot of people will be googling the words “Valkyrie definition” today.
It’s a brand new Franchise so I figured I’d share this information for the Golden State Valkyries fans who don’t know..
You can’t scream #BALLHALLA if you don’t know what it means lol
To simplify it..
“Valhalla” is a place (warriors) go to after dying heroically during combat. A (Valkyrie) is a female (warrior) that chooses who gets to go to Valhalla after dying. It’s a basketball team so they mixed the word Ball w/ Valhalla and made it a slogan.
The fact that they made the name based of the Golden State Warriors men’s team makes the slogan even cooler.
