From The Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas to the Grind Session stop in Fort Worth, Texas, I had an opportunity to see Mizzou signee Toni Bryant of FAB 50 bubble club Zephyrhills Christian Academy (Zephyrhills, Fla.) play multiple times. In this article, I’ll take a deep dive on Toni’s game and where he’s improved.

Toni Bryant Analysis
Bryant is an athletic stretch big that’s a legitimate catch and shoot threat from deep. He’s a physically gifted front line prospect with big-time vertical pop and is mobile. He completes lobs, he can alter shots at their peak and Bryant also utilizes his plus length to finish over defenders.
An area of improvement for Bryant is his intent to rebound the ball and his motor staying consistent. During the summer on the Puma Pro16 Circuit, I did leave the gym wanting more out of him on the glass. Looking at his physical profile, there weren’t physical limitations for him to impose his will on the boards during a game.
Through 4 games, Toni Bryant is averaging 20.25 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
Best Performance: 26 points vs. Huntington Expression Prep on 66.7% shooting.

This past week at Tark and the Grind Session, I didn’t question Bryant’s effort. Toni’s attempts for rebounds have increased since my viewing in the summer. Even if he didn’t secure the board, he kept the possession alive by tapping it to his teammates or when he would pursue the ball, it would give opportunities for his teammates to secure the ball because of the attention he attracts. Against arguably the best team in the country in Dynamic Prep, he collected 12 rebounds to go along with 24 points.
Where I’ve seen expansion in his game has been his mid-post work. Bryant generally was scoring via jumpers or lobs and/or finishes from the dunker spots. There wasn’t an in-between game and a limited post game. Now, he’s demanding the ball in the post, using quick spins, pass and shot fakes to generate his own look. Him operating closer to the rim, generates open looks for his teammates because the defense gravitates to him. He showcased impressive scoring plays from the block and there’s still a lot he could add to his repertoire.
Offensive versatility is what I’m now seeing. I wouldn’t say he was easy to guard, but it was easier and more predictable for a defender to stay attached to him and limit his shot attempts and touches during the summer. Now that he can operate in multiple places, he’s a handful to guard 1-on-1.
Conclusion
What’s been impressive about Bryant’s is he’s been in the higher tier of ranked 2026 prospects throughout his high school career and now in his senior year, with the growth he’s shown in the past couple of months, he’s kept his status and is a legitimate McDonald’s All American candidate. Ballots are due soon, so I would assume if he keeps playing like this, he should be selected into the game. Mizzou fans should be excited about the addition of Toni, and if he can continue to polish his game and keep his motor high each possession, he’ll be an impact player in college.
