US Market To Get Free Streaming Service Showing MotoGP Practice And Qualifying

MotoGP is expanding its coverage in the US. In addition to the existing TV deal with Fox, Dorna has announced they have signed a contract with a new advertising-based streaming service in the US. C15 Studio are to launch the MotoGP Channel, a 24/7 streaming channel showing live coverage, original programming, and some classic races.

The deal allows for all MotoGP sessions except for the sprint and the Sunday GP race to be streamed, meaning viewers will have access to MotoGP practice and qualifying. They will still have to tune into Fox to watch the MotoGP races, however.

But the Moto2 and Moto3 races will be shown live, as well as all practice sessions. This is good news for fans of the support classes, as Dorna has drastically reduced the exposure given to Moto2 and Moto3 in the past couple of seasons. The Moto3 races are a firm favorite with the fans, offering close and exciting racing.
