Rinderknech, Cazaux and Norrie Reach Second Round of 2025 Paris Masters
Monday’s ATP Tour results from Rolex Paris Masters in France included Arthur Rinderknech reaching the second round, defeating Fabian Marozsan 7-6(5), 7-6(4).
Rinderknech, who recently made the finals of the Rolex Shanghai Masters, could face his cousin and Shanghai champion Valentin Vacherot in the second round.
Vacherot will take on No. 14 seed Jiri Lehecka in first round action.
Other winners on Monday included Arthur Cazaux Francisco Cerundolo, Daniel Altmaier, Flavio Cobolli, Learner Tien, Aleksandar Vukic and Cameron Norrie.
Norrie will face top seed Carlos Alcaraz in second round action on Tuesday.
Alcaraz has made the finals of every event he’s played since the Rolex Monte Carlo Masters.
Also on Tuesday, No. 4 seed Taylor Fritz, No. 5 seed Ben Shelton, No. 11 seed Daniil Medvedev and recent Basel champion Joao Fonseca will be in action.
Fonseca will take on Denis Shapovalov for the second straight week.
