Ravens land Nnamdi Madubuike insurance at 32 in final Daniel Jeremiah mock draft

The Baltimore Ravens soon will select their first NFL Draft pick in the Jesse Minter era. Finding help for Nnamdi Madubuike rises as a need, especially after the Ravens All-Pro endured a scary neck injury.

Now Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network has Baltimore landing the All-Pro some help. Except this selection arrives via trade.

Jeremiah predicts the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks making a deal with Baltimore, allowing the latter to pick at No. 32. Clemson star Peter Woods heads to Charm City off this proposal.

“If the Ravens sit back and wait for their next scheduled pick at No. 45, they have to worry about the [Las Vegas] Raiders or another team taking Woods early in the second round. So, they use some of their draft capital to move up for a player they really like,” Jeremiah explained. “Woods provides some insurance with Nnamdi Madubuike working his way back from neck surgery.”

The Tigers trench standout becomes a smart pick if he falls all the way to the bottom of the first round. Woods leads a rather thin interior defensive lineman class in the ’26 draft.

Lance Zierlein of the NFL Network is another who likes Woods’ potential. Though adds he must overcome having short arms in the trenches.

“He’s not a pure one- or two-gap fit, but he’s capable in both schemes. He plays with good lower-body explosiveness into initial contact, keeping his hands and feet synced to work around blocks when needed,” Zierlein began. “He’s more of an active brawler than double-team eating tree stump. Shorter arms allow blockers to crowd his frame and force him to fight harder at the point.”

Minter must address the Ravens trenches. Woods surfaces as a massive fit.
