Packers’ 2026 NFL Mock Draft for all 8 picks

The Green Bay Packers will have to play the patient game in the draft. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be aggressive. And here is the 2026 NFL Mock Draft for all eight picks.

Without a first-round pick, the Packers have to wait through 51 selections. That is, unless they decide to trade up. But that doesn’t seem to be a likely strategy.

Round 1, Pick 52: CB Keith Abney II, Arizona State

With a couple of interesting choices still on the board at other positions, the Packers chose the better of two good options between Abney and LSU’s AJ Haulcy.

Abney would bring a lot of potential to the Packers, according to NFL Draft Buzz.

“After watching Abney work through his junior tape, I came away convinced this is a player who will carve out a real career in the NFL, though not necessarily as a perimeter lockdown corner,” NFL Draft Buzz wrote. “His best football at the next level will come in a scheme that lets him play off-man, zone, or pattern-match concepts where his processing and physicality can shine without putting him on an island against burners who can just run past him.

“The tools are there for a starting-caliber defensive back, but the framework around him matters. Drop him into a heavy Cover 1 man scheme and ask him to trail a 4.3 receiver all game, and you are going to see flags and touchdowns. Put him in a system that values anticipation, film study, and controlled aggression, and you have yourself a weapon.”

The Packers’ need at the cornerback position is well-documented. They need to make a move to solve the issue with this pick. And that’s why Abney fits nicely.

Round 3, Pick 84: LB Anthony Hill Jr., Texas

At this point in the mock draft, the Packers didn’t take the best available player because that was another cornerback. Instead, they went with the best linebacker remaining on the board. And it filled another position of need.

Getting Hill this deep in the draft is a steal. He’s seen as an eventual plus starter, according to NFL.com.

“Three-down linebacker with the playing demeanor and production of a future Pro Bowler,” Lance Zierlein wrote. “He’s instinctive, athletic, and under control, transitioning seamlessly from read to react to finish. He plays with downhill thump to thwart interior blocks and the speed to pursue runners from sideline to sideline. Hill has plus cover talent in man or zone, proven credentials as a blitzer or edge rusher, and finishes plays as a strong, reliable tackler.

“Consistency and field command make him one of the safer linebackers in the class. His size, speed, and versatility allow him to profile as an instant-impact rookie at Mike or Will linebacker.”

Round 4, Pick 120: DI Zxavian Harris, Mississippi

It was a tough choice with a good wide receiver on the board, but the Packers continue their path to fill needs. And Harris does that with high potential, according to Bleacher Report.

“Harris has great size and length, giving him a rare frame and unique traits to develop,” Matt Holder wrote. “When he does get his hands up against the run, he has the strength to hold his gap against base blocks and shed to make tackles in his gap.

“(He’s) effective as the spike on run stunts, showing the physicality to catch offensive linemen off guard and create havoc in the backfield by picking off offensive linemen.”

Round 5, Pick 153: WR Cyrus Allen, Cincinnati

This is where the Packers go off-book a little bit. Allen isn’t a reach pick at this point, but this is more about fit than overall ability. Still, the athleticism is there, according to The Athletic.

“A dynamic athlete, Allen moves with twitch as a route runner, although some of his steps and movements can get choppy,” Dane Brugler wrote. “Despite his lack of size, he shows outstanding body control to adjust and frame the football mid-air, and his drops declined each season. Because of his below-average play strength, he can be out-physicaled, both mid-route and at the catch point.

“Allen gave his draft profile a boost at the Senior Bowl, and he shows the quickness and ball skills that will stand out during training camp.”

Round 5, Pick 160: T Diego Pounds, Mississippi

It’s never too late to enhance the offensive line. Pounds will be a nice fit for some team, if only as a backup, according to The Athletic

“Pounds is a long, dense blocker with play strength who protects the integrity of the pocket,” Brugler wrote. “But he will need to be more consistent in the run game to stay on the field. He has the talent to compete for a backup role as a rookie — and, eventually, to outperform his draft spot.”

Round 6, Pick 201: HB J’Mari Taylor, Virginia

This is a case of the Packers taking the top guy remaining on the board. They don’t need a running back, but Taylor is worth a late-round flier even though he’s on the shorter side. He is a potential three-down back, according to NFL.com.

“He runs with compact power and elite balance,” Zierlein wrote. “He’s excellent on short-yardage carries, scoring tough touchdowns and gaining more than is blocked. He “fields his position” with solid vision and open-field burst, but when defenses slow his feet, they slow his processing.”

Round 7, Pick 236: Riley Nowakowski, Indiana

This is a great year to pick guys from Indiana. And maybe the Packers get a steal. He’s more of an H-back, according to NFL Draft Buzz.

“Nowakowski fits best as an H-back or move tight end in an offense that values versatility over positional purity,” NFL Draft Buzz wrote. “His blocking technique holds up on the edge in run schemes, and his pass protection was nearly flawless in 2025. But his size means he will not win consistently inline against NFL defensive ends who carry 40 or 50 pounds on him.”

Round 7, Pick 255: QB Taylen Green, Arkansas

This has nothing to do with Jordan Love, but rather a team grabbing an athletic quarterback who could develop into a reasonable backup. Or maybe even play another position.

Green is a wild card, and a good choice this late.
