Mel Kiper Jr. makes final Jeremiyah Love prediction ahead of 2026 NFL Draft

The Tennessee Titans are ready to make some noise during the 2026 NFL Draft. Tennessee will enter the draft with nine total selections, including the fourth overall pick. One national analyst planted his flag, declaring that Tennessee will add a dynamic playmaker in the first round.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. made his final predictions ahead of the draft in his latest mock. Kiper has the Titans grabbing Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the fourth overall pick.

“Will the Titans take the plunge? We haven’t seen a running back go this early since Saquon Barkley went No. 2 eight years ago, but Love has the goods to come off the board in the top five,” Kiper wrote. “And while the case could easily be made that Tennessee has other, more important holes to fill on its roster, it’d be a mistake to look at Love solely as a traditional running back. He’s a playmaker who can put a jolt in the Titans’ offense in the backfield with quarterback Cam Ward. Love will break free for home runs, he will haul in tough catches when flexed outside, and he will power over defenders to extend drives.”

Love is widely regarded as one of the best players in this draft class. It would not be surprising if the Titans are comfortable taking him at four.

Tennessee currently has Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, and Michael Carter in their running back room. None of those players should prevent them from adding a true game changer like Love.

Kiper suggested that edge rusher could also be in play for the Titans in the first round. But in his mock, David Bailey and Arvell Reese went off the board just before the Titans.

Either way, Titans fans would be thrilled to add Love to their offense.
