NFL Draft week is approaching quickly. The draft is the most exciting part of the NFL offseason as teams get a glimpse of the future and hundreds of former college athletes’ lives are changing for the better.
Former Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is going to be an early first-round pick. Many mock drafts have him being selected as early as No. 4 by the Tennessee Titans. NFL Insider, Marcus Spears, tries to break down why taking Love early in the first round and why it’s a comparison to Bijan Robinson and the Atlanta Falcons.
“I think this is going to be one of those situations in the war room where you’re going to have to decide what the identity of the football team will be.”@MSpears96 explains why the Titans’ pick at No. 4 is more complicated than it seems pic.twitter.com/YXABYK0eo3

“I think there are a number of factors that are going to go into this decision,” Spears said about the Titans and their No. 4 pick. “With all due respect to the draft guys, I look at this from an organizational standpoint. You are going to have a conflict in ideologies. Fred Warner was a linebacker for (Robert Saleh) in a phenomenal defense. If (Saleh) sees that trait in Sonny Styles, does that take precedence over Jeremiyah Love, being a running back? … where you bring in a new offensive coordinator in Brian Daboll, along with a pretty young quarterback, and trying to get that ball going.”
“Bijan Robinson is phenomenal; he is one of the best running backs in the NFL,” Spears continued. “The impact on winning is what comes to mind.”
Spears believes that the Titans will have two choices. Boosting the offense with Love, or taking a defensive player to ensure that the defense turns into a dominant one, similar to the likes of the Houston texans who are in the same division, or the Seattle Seahawks, who won the Super Bowl because of their elite defense.
