It has been public knowledge for some time, but it is confirmed at last. Today, Yamaha have announced that they have chose Jack Miller for the second seat at Prima Pramac Yamaha, alongside Toprak Razgatlioglu. They also announced that Miguel Oliveira will be out of Yamaha at the end of this year.
Miller was the obvious choice for Yamaha. The Australian is the second best of the Yamaha riders, ahead of both factory rider Alex Rins and his Pramac teammate Miguel Oliveira. But Miller is also being kept for his development work, the Australian being lauded in the press release for the work he has done on the Yamaha M1.
