Fermin Aldeguer To Fly To Brazil For Goiânia GP

Fermin Aldeguer is to fly to Brazil in the hope of competing in the Brazilian round of MotoGP at the Autódromo Internacional de Goiânia – Ayrton Senna. The Gresini Ducati rider missed all of the preseason after breaking a femur in a training crash in January.

The Gresini team announced that Aldeguer would travel to Brazil on their social media account. The Spanish youngster has already been back on a bike earlier this week to test his fitness.

Aldeguer will face a medical before being allowed to participate. However, it is general practice for teams and riders to confer with MotoGP medical staff to keep them abreast of an injured rider’s situation, and to ensure that a rider doesn’t make a wasted journey.
