Unrivaled, the domestic three-on-three league co-founded by Stewart and Napheesa Collier, announced on Friday that the semifinals will be staged in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on March 2. It’ll mark the second time the Miami-based Unrivaled takes its talents outside South Beach, following a successful foray in Philadelphia at Xfinity Mobile Arena last month.

Friday’s announcement also unveiled the Unrivaled playoff schedule: the Brooklyn business trip will be sandwiched between the first round and championship matches at Sephora Arena in Miami, set for Feb. 28 and March 4, respectively. Tickets for the semifinals went on sale on Friday, while first-round and championship tickets will be available starting on Monday.
In addition, Unrivaled announced that the winners’ prize pool has been increased to $600,000.
Brooklyn, of course, is home to Stewart’s other professional squad, the New York Liberty of the WNBA. Stewart, a Syracuse native, has spent the past three seasons in New York and helped guide the franchise to its first WNBA championship in 2024 with a five-game victory over Collier’s Minnesota Lynx.
Unrivaled’s Growth and Surging Popularity
In addition to Stewart, who reps Mist BC, Unrivaled also features current Liberty guard Natasha Cloud of Phantom BC. Homegrown franchise face Sabrina Ionescu is not partaking in on-floor activities this winter but has called games as a guest analyst for TNT Sports alongside Ros Gold-Onwude, who has called local Liberty games for several seasons.
The Brooklyn event will also feature a pop-up activation formed in conjunction with founding partner Ally Financial. A release from Unrivaled hints at interactive experiences and special guest appearances, which will be announced at a later date.

Further Unrivaled expansion was likely inevitable after the successful stop in Philadelphia: a crowd of 21,490 watched a pair of games headlined by the involvement of City of Brotherly Love natives Cloud and Kahleah Copper before Marina Mabrey stole the show with a record-breaking scoring output.
The first professional women’s basketball showcase in the city since 1998 set an attendance record for Xfinity Mobile Arena. Philadelphia is scheduled to welcome a WNBA team in time for the 2030 season.
Unrivaled is currently engaged in its second annual one-on-one tournament down in Miami. Second round action gets underway on Friday night (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT/TruTV).
