2026 Sepang MotoGP Free Practice 2 Result: Bastianini Shows Up Alex Marquez

Saturday at Sepang started with a bit of a novelty at the top of the timing screens, Enea Bastianini taking over the session with three minutes left of it. The Italian looked solid on Friday and stepped up to grab the headline in FP2 – a third of a second quicker than Alex Marquez. Although demoted from top spot in the closing stages, the Gresini rider continues to thrive on one of his favourite tracks, while the factory Aprilia team bookended the timesheets for the first half of the session.
