The Cleveland Browns dominated during the 2026 NFL Draft. Cleveland put their war chest of draft picks to good use, adding multiple playmakers on both sides of the ball. Now the Browns are receiving almost universal praise from analysts for their excellent draft haul.
Cleveland’s 2026 draft class has already received praise from multiple national outlets.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. put the Browns at the top of his list following the draft, giving them an “A” grade along with the Cowboys, Raiders, and Eagles. Meanwhile, The Athletic’s Dane Brugler also ranked Cleveland first in the league in his post-draft rankings article.
Bruce Feldman also praise Cleveland for making several excellent picks in his article of takeaways from the draft.
“Life has been rough for Cleveland Browns fans for what feels like the last four or five decades, but I really liked the team’s draft,” Feldman wrote. “The Browns got a very polished, smooth, athletic offensive tackle in Spencer Fano with the No. 9 pick, and they took arguably the most dynamic wideout in the draft at No. 24 in KC Concepcion. He’s a walking highlight reel who also will give the return game a jolt. It’ll be fun to see how Todd Monken uses him in his offense.”
The Browns got good value on both Fano and Concepcion compared to consensus boards. They also fill big positions of need on offense.
But Cleveland’s selections in the second round really helped set their draft class apart.
Cleveland double dipped at wide receiver, scooping up Denzel Boston early in the second round. They also got great value in Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren with the 58th overall pick.
Ultimately, the Browns still may not be a contending team during the 2026 season. But they are finally building a foundation that can give fans hope for the future.
