The NFL Draft is a life-changing experience that families and loved ones will always remember, but it can also be extremely exhausting. A social battery can only last so long, especially when a room is overflowing with emotion and anticipation. Players have their own way of handling the experience, and so do their dogs. While Georgia tight end Oscar Delp waited to hear the New Orleans Saints select him with the No. 73 overall pick, his furry friend seemingly hatched a plan.
When the 6-foot-5, 245-pound prospect got off the couch to celebrate the news and take in the moment, the family dog came over to greet him and eventually sprawled out across the area on the sofa that was previously occupied by Delp. You just know he had been waiting to do that all nightlong.

The 2022-23 national champion gets to live out his dream in The Big Easy, and the canine finally gets to be comfortable amid all the commotion. Winners all around in the Delp household.
Saints head coach Kellen Moore wants to surround second-year quarterback Tyler Shough with weapons on offense, and although this incoming TE only amassed 70 receptions for 854 yards and nine touchdowns during his four-year run in Athens, Oscar Delp has the tools to earn a meaningful role in this system.
The Georgia alum was a reliable blocker and could eventually challenge for a starting job in New Orleans. Hopefully, he gets a chance to reflect on this milestone achievement before reporting for duty. Though, it is unlikely that couch will free up any time soon.
