2026 Jerez Moto2 Free Practice 2 Result: Arbolino Thrives In Wet Conditions

A wet and grey morning awaited the intermediate class for their final practice session in Jerez, with drizzle adding to the gloomy conditions throughout their running. The man most enjoying the conditions was rather predictably Tony Arbolino, who held top spot in the closing stages of FP2 and ended up over half a second quicker than the closest challenger – fellow wet weather enthusiast Mario Aji. Barry Baltus was another of the supporting characters towards the top of the timing screens, settling for 3rd place eventually, a tenth of a second quicker than Alonso Lopez.
