Jordyn Tyson is one of the most exciting prospects in this year’s NFL Draft. The Arizona State wide receiver is an excellent pass-catcher, brimming with potential. Tyson is expected to go in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and he’s brought with him something important to his family.
Tyson isn’t the first family member to enter the pros. Just two years ago, his brother Jaylon entered the NBA Draft. The elder Tyson was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 20th pick in the NBA Draft and has been a key contributor for Cleveland this year. As a good luck charm of sorts, Jordyn is wearing the same shoes that Jaylon wore two years ago.
“He couldn’t be with us here today because he has a game, obviously, at the same time as us, so [I] had to bring him here somehow,” Jordyn Tyson said.
Jaylon’s Cavs are playing tonight in Toronto in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Cavs hold a 2-0 lead over the Raptors. Tyson has been quiet so far, playing in just 26 minutes through the first two games and scoring just five points in the series so far. Jordyn will be the next family member to enter the pros after the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
One of the most dynamic playmakers in this year’s class, Tyson was one of the most highly anticipated prospects coming into the year. With his tall frame, elite route-running, and a knack for catching balls in traffic, the Arizona State product’s potential is immense. Injury concerns over the last two years have knocked his draft stock a peg, but teams willing to take a chance on Tyson are still plentiful.
