The Atlanta Dream have been anything but dormant during this WNBA offseason, reportedly re-upping with franchise face Allisha Gray.
Provided it builds on its 2025 momentum, the Atlanta Dream will continue to be a nightmare thanks to its recently reported re-signings.

Per Sean Hurd of Andscape, Atlanta is set to re-up with Allisha Gray and Brionna Jones, the former on a three-year max-plus deal. Kendra Andrews of ESPN further reported that newly-minted Sixth Woman of the Year Naz Hillmon is set to make her way back as well, joining Gray in the three-year sisterhood.

The headliner, of course, is Gray, one of several headlining names to receive core designation status at the tip of the free agency process this week. The nine-year pro averaged 18.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists last year and those personal bests produced a fourth-place finish in the WNBA MVP vote.
Gray made a particularly strong name for herself on the outside, sinking just over 38 percent of her tries with an extra point on the line on just over six attempts per game. She would place second to New York’s Sabrina Ionescu at the 3-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend activities and earned first team All-WNBA honors for the first time in her career.

Atlanta Dream Championship Contenders?
Fellow veterans Hillmon and Jones likewise earned their respective paydays in an effort that produced the Eastern Conference’s best record: Hillmon earned the league’s award for top reserve with 8.6 points and 6.2 rebounds while Jones pulled in a team-high 7.3 boards per game in her first tour of Georgia to help the Dream pace all participants. Hillmon’s deal is worth $2.5 million, fully guaranteed.
Gray, Hillmon, and Jones all played a major role in Atlanta’s franchise-best season, one that produced 30 wins and an opening round playoff disappointment against the Indiana Fever. Fresh off one of the most bittersweet tours in recent WNBA memory, the Dream has been anything but sleepy during this offseason speed-run: when the transactional frenzy opened on Monday, the Dream engaged in a blockbuster deal that acquired the polarizing paint prowess of Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky.
The flurry of activity sets the Dream up well for an encore performance, one set to get underway on May 10 against the Minnesota Lynx.
