Not only did the Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl LX 29-13 over the New England Patriots, they did it in Levi’s Stadium, home of NFC West rival the San Francisco 49ers. During the Super Bowl parade on Wednesday, one defensive lineman on the roster gave the fanbase credit for turning Levi’s Stadium into a home crowd for Seattle.
Mike Morris, who is 24 years old, excitedly thanked the fans for their presence at Super Bowl LX, according to Michawl-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Morris was seemingly excited to celebrate with his teammates, but didn’t forget to mention the fanbase.
“We love y’all,” proclaimed Morris on a TV interview. “Come on, man. Levi’s Stadium was a home game because of the 12s! Because of the 12s! Let’s go!”

The third-year veteran played in all 17 games for the Seahawks in the regular season as a backup defensive end. He finished the campaign with career highs, recording 18 combined tackles (11 solo), two tackles for a loss, and two quarterback hits. Mike Morris also managed to deflect one pass.
Despite being a backup, Morris did play a role in helping the Seahawks defense play at such a high level. Seattle’s defense was one of the most opportunistic units this season, and it helped lead to the second Super Bowl win in franchise history.
Seahawks players will have fun celebrating the championship for several more weeks. However, the coaching staff and front office will have a quick turnaround, as they’ll get back to business soon. Free agency is set to begin in March, and the NFL Draft is scheduled for late April.
