Rams’ Davante Adams off injury report, cleared for Wild Card matchup vs Panthers

The Los Angeles Rams will be facing the Carolina Panthers in the Wild Card Round, and it sounds like they may gettng back one of their key players for the big matchup. Davante Adams has missed the past few games with a hamstring injury, but he has been working himself back to get on the field. It looks like he’s fully healthy, and will be a big addition as they try to advance through the postseason.

“Rams WR Davante Adams is off the injury report from his hamstring injury and is good to go Saturday vs. Carolina,” Schefter wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Adams has been huge for the Rams this season when he’s on the field, and the stats prove it. He finished the regular season with 789 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns, as he had a few games where he had two or three scores. When Puka Nacua was sidelined with an injuy, Adams stepped up and turned into the WR1 for the Rams, and was the go-to for Matthew Stafford.

When Nacua and Adams are on the field together, the Rams are at their best, and it’s hard to take account of them both without a double team somewhere.

The Rams may have not ended the season the way they wanted to, but there’s no doubt that they should still be a dangerous team to face the playoffs. They have one of the better offenses in the league, and the defense has been able to hold their own.

The first challenge they’ll face is the Panthers, who they were in a tight game with late in November and lost. It wouldn’t be a surprise if it was another competitive game, as the Panthers caught fire in the second half of the season.

With Adams back for the Rams, it should definitely give them the boost they need.
