Fermin Aldeguer Breaks Leg In Training Accident

Gresini Ducati rider Fermin Aldeguer has broken the femur (thigh bone) in his left leg in a training accident. In a post on social media, the Gresini Racing team issued the following statement:

@Aldeguer54 sustained a fracture to the shaft of his left femur during a training session in Valencia and is scheduled to undergo surgery tomorrow in Barcelona. More info to follow.

Aldeguer was training with several other riders at the Aspar Circuit in Guadassuar, just outside of Valencia. According to reports on social media, Aldeguer was involved in a big crash, and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
