Sinner Wins 2025 Paris Masters Title; Returns back to World No. 1
Sunday’s ATP Tour results from Rolex Paris Masters in France saw world No. 2 Jannik Sinner capture his fifth title of the year, ousting Felix Auger-Aliassime from Canada 6-4, 7-6(4).
Needing one hour and 52 minutes to prevail, Sinner hit six aces, won 91 percent of his first serve points and broke his opponent on one occasion.
With the victory, Sinner also improved to 3-2 against Auger-Aliassime in lifetime meetings, including winning the last three encounters.
Returning back to the world No. 1 ranking, Sinner will next look to defend his title at the ATP Finals in Turin, Italy.
Sinner will be joined by Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, and Alex de Minaur.
The eighth and final spot will likely go to Auger-Aliassime, Lorenzo Musetti, or Alexander Bublik.
Auger-Aliassime, who continues to be one of the best players on an indoor hard-court surface, has won three titles this year and reached the semifinals of the US Open.
Sinner now has 23 career titles and well over 50 million in prize money alone.
