As the final round of the WorldSBK dawned it seemed like a foregone conclusion. There was little doubt that Toprak Razgatlioglu would be crowned for a third time as champion. Nicolo Bulega had proven to be an admirable rival but ultimately Toprak would have too much for his rival…that was the plan at least!
