2025 Misano MotoGP Free Practice 1 Result: Morbidelli Tops Then Tumbles

FP1 in Misano was a typical Franco Morbidelli storyline, the Italian sitting out the start of the session for disobeying the marshals last time out, then taking over at the top of the timing screens in the final seven minutes, before ending in the turn 10 gravel on his final lap. A very late charge from Fabio Quartararo separated the neon yellow duo at the front of the field, the Frenchman a quarter of a second behind Morbidelli but only five thousandths of a second ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio.
