Yamaha’s Private Test At Barcelona Hindered By Rain

Yamaha’s planned private test at Barcelona at the Monday after the Catalonian Grand Prix has not gone as smoothly as Fabio Quartararo and the other Yamaha riders had hoped. The day started damp, and showers on and off during the day meant track conditions were far from ideal.

There are no official reports from the tests, and no times have been released, but people with knowledge of the test said that Andrea Dovizioso, Alex Rins, Jack Miller, and Fabio Quartararo all rode during the day. It is almost certain that if Quartararo and Rins rode, it would have been aboard the V4, as there would have been little sense in them riding the current inline four M1.
