Everton have reached a full agreement to sign Manchester City star Jack Grealish on a season-long loan deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
David Moyes’ side have been locked in advanced negotiations over a move for the England international for several days and they have now agreed a deal to bring him to Merseyside.
“Grealish said yes to [the] Everton project and he’s now set to complete his move in [the] next 24 hours. New addition for David Moyes.”
Grealish started just seven Premier League games across the entirety of last season, after falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola, and he is now on the verge of leaving Man City on a temporary deal.
The 29-year-old has been pushed further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium this summer, following the arrival of Olympique Lyonnais star Rayan Cherki, and he has opted to complete a loan move to Everton, despite significant interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Jack Grealish to join Everton on loan
Grealish will become Everton’s sixth signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Villarreal striker Thierno Barry (€30m), Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (€28.7m), Flamengo star Carlos Alcaraz (€15m), Bayern Munich defender Adam Aznou (€9m), and Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers (€4.6m).
The England star is expected to compete for a starting berth on the left flank or in a number 10 role at Everton this season.
Man City are also in talks to offload Savinho to Tottenham Hotspur, as per multiple reports, as Guardiola looks to trim down his first-team squad before the start of the new Premier League campaign.
