2026 Provisional WorldSBK Calendar: 12 Rounds, No Change In Circuits, Dates Reshuffled

The 2026 World Superbike championship calendar bears a remarkable resemblance to the 2025 calendar. Next year will once again see 12 rounds of the series at the same circuits it visited this season.

As always, the championship kicks off in Australia, with the WorldSBK and WorldSSP classes racing at the iconic Phillip Island circuit from February 20th-22nd, after a test a week earlier. Once again, Phillip Island is the only round to be held outside of the European continent.

After a five week break, the series returns to Europe to race at Portimão in Portugal from March 27th-29th. There, we will get the first look at the new World Sportbike class with larger capacity bikes which replaces the SSP300 class.

From there, WorldSBK takes on a more regular schedule, with two or three weeks between rounds. The series first heads north to Assen, from 17th-19th April, then east and south to Hungary, and a second visit to the Balaton Park circuit from May 1st-3rd.
