I have done the easy part of predictions. It doesn’t take a genius with decades of experience in motorcycle racing to predict that Marc Márquez will win the 2026 MotoGP crown. You don’t have to be writing quatrains in medieval French, Occitan, Latin and Greek to believe that we are likely to see a lot of rider and bike changes in the 2027 MotoGP line up. Though all predictions are of necessity hostages to fortune, those were the ones that are extremely likely to pan out.
So now, let me turn to the harder questions. And perhaps more interesting ones. Here’s the final part of my 2026 MotoGP predictions.
