2026 Jerez MotoGP FP1 Result: Di Giannantonio Sets Out His Stall

Fabio Di Giannantonio has topped the first session of free practice for the MotoGP class at Jerez. The Pertamina VR46 rider put in a new set of medium tires to crack into the 1’36s, the only rider to do so. Teammate Franco Morbidelli did the same, setting the second fastest time of the morning session.

The Pertamina VR46 riders pushed Alex Marquez down into third. The Gresini Ducati rider, who took his first MotoGP victory here last year, led for most of the session, but stuck with one set of used tires all the way to the end.
