Marco Bezzecchi leaves the Buriram MotoGP test as fastest, having dipped under Pecco Bagnaia’s 2024 outright lap record in his last run of the last day of preseason testing. The factory Aprilia Racing was three hundredths under the record, and nearly a tenth of a second faster than Trackhouse Racing’s Ai Ogura. Ogura has a very strong record at Buriram, having been impressive in his first outing at the track last year. Bezzecchi did a long race simulation in the afternoon, at a pace faster than last year’s race, while Ogura did a sprint simulation which was also very quick.
