Although Marco Bezzecchi continued to be the fastest man in Buriram, the Italian didn’t quite have a smooth start on Saturday morning, taking a light tumble at turn 3 – right after setting the early benchmark. Although the respite allowed the likes of Pedro Acosta to close within a tenth of a second of top spot, Bezzecchi’s position wasn’t under major threat and the Aprilia man continued to effortlessly post times in the 1:29s once he rejoined for the final half of the session. Acosta settled for second, with Alex Marquez leading Ducati’s charge from third position.
