The final practice session saw the return of Tony Arbolino to the top of the timesheets, the Italian’s final flying lap placing him almost a quarter of a second ahead of the competition. The late charge demoted Senna Agius to second position but the Australian improved significantly after a tough time in Brazil, while Alonso Lopez led the way early in FP2, before dropping to 3rd – only a thousandth of a second slower than Agius.
