Alex Marquez has dominated the first day of practice for the MotoGP class at Portimão, the Gresini Ducati rider topping the timed practice session after being fastest in FP1 this morning. Marquez was the only rider to crack into the 1’37s, setting a time of 1’37.974. Still seven tenths off the outright lap record, but with overcast skies and the constant threat of rain, a strong time.
