Friday afternoon finished the same way it started in the lightweight class, with David Almansa in prime position and this time the Spaniard held onto top spot until the chequered flag. Teammate Adrian Fernandez steadily made his way up the timing screens and eventually became the only rider to post a lap time within half a second of the leader – although not by much. Joel Kelso kept much closer to Fernandez, only one hundredth of a second behind, with Valentin Perrone and FP1 leader Jose Antonio Rueda completing the top five.Â
