After the morning’s sensational race, the championship was decided in the last race of the year, the first time since 2014 the championship was decided at the last race. Jonathan Rea would miss out on his last race after his crash this morning rules him out due to a right knee sprain and contusion. Nicolo Bulega waited as long as possible before heading out to line up on the grid. Three Ducatis line up on the front row with Toprak Razgatlioglu starting in tenth place. Razgatlioglu needs to finish in thirteenth place or better to take the title. The weekend attendance was 41,210.
Grupo Flamenco Fani Muñoz did a brief Flamenco performance on the grid ahead of the twenty lap race under a Spanish 27ºC sky, then the race happened and Toprak Razgatlioglu was crowned the 2025 World Superbike champion before heading off to MotoGP.
