“The Throne”: The Must-See Matchup Everybody Wants
Ballislife and Mikayla Boykin of Mspire Sports Group worked tirelessly to make this 1v1 matchup actually happen. Nas, with his historic 37-game winning steak in 30-point games, is the 1v1 space’s biggest name. We’ve known Rob is one of the best talents to ever grace the 1v1 scene, but his historic 31-0 shut out win over former NBAer Walt Lemon Jr. at REDEMPTION certified him as the space’s hottest name.
Nas took his game, and reputation, to the next level by defeating former NBA player Archie Goodwin, 30-24, at ALL IN Las Vegas in July. The winning streak was at 36 after that pivotal moment in the short history of the 1 v 1 Championship.

After Nas aka “The Blueprint” defeated former NBAer Jonathon Simmons at REDEMPTION in late September to up his winning streak to 37 games, the immediate question was, “whom should Nas play next?” That questioned was answered the same night in Detroit, but it was just a matter of the timing and actually making it happen. The announcement has already caused a stir on social media, with former NBA star Lance Stephenson stating that he wants to take on the winner.
Can Rob End The Streak?
Nas has never lost an official game to 30 points. Rob is the one “Youtube” player that fans think can actually beat the No. 1 ranked player in the streetball space. Sure, Rob has lost to 30, but if he were to pull off a win over Nas to end the winning streak, that December loss to DA will long be forgotten. Not to mention, Rob avenged that loss with a big-time win over DA at All In before putting on arguably the greatest performance we’ve ever seen in the space at Redemption.
“The Throne” in Atlanta is set to become another pivotal moment in the hottest emerging basketball space on the planet. Both competitors are looking forward to “THE THRONE” especially since it will take place in Atlanta and both are HBCU graduates. Nas is a Tampa, Fla., native and Rob is from Jacksonville, N.C.
